ReCarbn receives pre-seed funding from VFF Overijssel at 350K!

We’re thrilled to announce that we have achieved a major milestone in our journey to combat climate change. Our technology, aimed at capturing CO2 directly from the atmosphere, is gaining momentum.

Helping various industries transform to net zero

Our impact spans across industries, from greenhouse horticulture to chemicals and proteins, providing them the opportunity to use a circular source of CO2. These potential markets consist of companies that require CO2 for their primary processes and currently obtain it from fossil fuels. Additionally, a market for ‘negative emissions’, extracting and permanently storing CO2 from the air, is emerging, allowing hard-to-abate industries to transform to net zero faster.

The Next Step - Thanks to Oost NL and Novel-T:

With the generous support of Oost-NL and Novel T, we’re taking the next crucial step. We will further develop a demonstration unit, which we will use to test with launching customers. Developing a demo incurs costs, and VFF Overijssel is lending a hand to finalize this crucial first step. VFF Overijssel is part of Innovation Fund Overijssel I, managed by Oost-NL and made possible by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (Ministerie van Economische Zaken en Klimaat).

Since the start of ReCarbn in December last year, we secured € 500k in funding. We will start preparing our next funding round in the coming months.
