ReCarbn's Direct Air Capture Technology

DAC technology uses chemical sorbents to capture CO₂ from the atmosphere. ReCarbn’s unique innovation circulates this chemical sorbent between reactors to reduce energy consumption and cycle time compared to traditional fixed solid sorbent technologies. The unique features of ReCarbn’s direct air capture product set it apart from others in the market.

Learn more about how we put our technology into practice for different industries.

GENERATION 01

The pilot plant, Generation 1, has been operational since September 2022. This is the initial generation plant developed by ReCarbn. As part of EU Horizon 2020, it was delivering CO₂ feedstock to an algae reactor with a capacity of 3.5 tons captured CO₂ / year.

Upcoming Direct Air Capture Generations

We are constantly developing our technology for the upcoming years. In 2028, we will start construction of our 50k-ton factory. This scale and technology development will provide competitive capture costs and low energy consumption to capture CO₂ from the atmosphere.
