ReCarbn awarded the NWO Take-off Grant

We are excited to announce that ReCarbn has been awarded the NWO Take-off Grant! Building on over a decade of research led by Professor Wim Brilman, we aim to revolutionise Direct Air Capture (DAC) with our energy-efficient circulating solid-sorbent reactor technology. This funding will enable us to advance our DAC technology to a commercial scale. We will focus on the strategic in-house development of a sorbent material to reduce capture costs and increase efficiency.

Take-off is a funding instrument accessible to all scientific fields, designed to foster activity and entrepreneurship within Dutch knowledge institutions. This instrument empowers academic entrepreneurs, starters from universities of applied sciences (HBO), and those utilising knowledge from Applied Research Organizations (TO2) to bring their innovative research to market.
